Hefty bail for RM50 alleged robbery of hair clippers

SHAH ALAM: A man today pleaded not guilty before sessions court judge Mohamed Mokhzani Mokhtar for allegedly using a screwdriver to threaten a barber and robbing him of his pair of hair clippers early this year.
B. Sathia Seelan, 23 is charged with allegedly robbing the cutting equipment which costs RM50 from S. Gunaseelan, an Indian national, at about 1.10pm on Jan 2 at Kedai Gunting Rambut Butick, Pangsapuri Rimba Jaya, Jalan Lengkuas 16/19, Seksyen 16 here.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Syakimah Ibrahim did not propose bail as the accused had used a weapon which is a serious offence. The case is set for mention on Feb 4. – Bernama
